We can’t say enough about the consistency and quality of our June Bug cow family that produced this heifer. June Bug has had daughters and granddaughters sell to many different states, including a high selling cow at this sale last year—PVSM Ladybug, purchased by Clover Valley Simmentals, IN. Firefly, a 5/8 Simmental, is a deep bodied, sound moving, moderately-framed heifer with the blaze face that we all love. PVSM Firefly Magic is A.I. bred to GWS/SCF Rendition, and is due 10-20-15. Calf will be 3/4 Simmental.

The mating of Ultimate Force and Butter Brickle has worked very well—a full sister to this heifer, PVSM Butter Bean, was High Selling Heifer at the PA Fall Classic, selling to Frosty Springs Farm. Since Butter Toffee has no Dream On in her pedigree, the breeding choices for her are numerous. PVSM Butter Toffee is A.I. bred to Long’s Steel Shot and is due 9-2-15.

PVSM Miss Uppity is A.I. bred to TLLC One Eyed Jack and is due 8-14-15.

Fairy Tale, a solid black Shear Force daughter, is the type of heifer that will fit into anyone’s program, or will be the cornerstone of a new breeding program. This heifer is smooth made, feminine, deep ribbed, and thick with super maternal EPD’s, note her API of 134. We struggled with the decision to sell this heifer, but our commitment to this sale made us reach deep into our replacement pen to consign all four of these heifers.
