With a birth weight of 79lbs, weaning weight of 744lbs, and yearling weight of 1200lbs, he offers great calving ease with plenty of growth. Phoenix has been shown — he and his dam were Grand Champion Cow/Calf Pair at the 2013 Pennsylvania Farm Show, and he was Senior Bull Calf Champion at the 2013 Keystone International Livestock Expo. Since Phoenix is 3/4 Simmental, 1/4 Angus, he offers strong Simmental genetics with Angus influence that will work on cows of any breed.
