Congratulations to Sarah Zimmerman of Pine Grove, Pa., and PVSM Bugsy for winning Grand Champion Steer at the 2008 Gratz Fair. This pair also earned Reserve Champion Simmental Steer at the Pennsylvania Simmental Association Field Day, July 15th, 2008.
Maybelle is moderately framed, super easy keeping cow with a great disposition. She has the depth of body, capacity, and thickness to make her an outstanding cow. Maybelle has been shown, and placed well at the Pa. Farm Show as a calf and a bred heifer. She has no Dream On in her pedigree, so the breeding choices for her are numerous. We are excited to see her calf, because the performance pedigrees of Black Joker and Powerline should produce a well muscled, moderately framed calf that will do great in the show ring, but more importantly, will go on to be a top cow or bull for you. This is a cow we hate to sell, but we are confident that she will fit into anyone’s commercial or purebred herd. Since Maybelle is due to calve 12-29-08 to Kenco/MF Powerline 204L, she could be bred back early for your fall program, or fit right into your spring program.
